Dog food topper we know your dog will love!
We pride ourselves on our pets and their health.
We recommend reading ingredients as there could be a risk of low-quality fillers and more. Not all kibble is created equal and ingredients vary widely among brands.
After being made aware of what is in allot of the food we buy, we believe that less is best using whole-food protein sources.
A dog friendly food topper with good sourced kibble is what we recommend.
Turkey, brown rice and veggies
This recipe comes together in 10-20 minutes. Split mixture into small portions depending on your dogs size and freeze.
1 lb ground turkey
1 cup frozen peas and carrots
1 cup brown rice ( rinsed three times before preparing).
Brown turkey in skillet until cooked through, drain. Prepare rice per package, add to turkey mixture and add peas and carrots. Heat combining all.
* 1 cup sweet potato or pumpkin - instead of brown rice
Additions for either recipe:
eggs
flaxseed
broth
cinnamon or a bit of tumeric
**** Always consult your vet before introducing new foods to your dog. Especially prone to allergies or health issues.
**** Read all labels. Peanut butter and pumpkin purees are not all made the same.
Homemade dog biscuits
You can make homemade dog biscuits with as little as 3 or a max of 6 ingredients.
3 Ingredient dog biscuits
1 cup oat flour
1/4 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup unsweetened pumpkin puree
Preheat oven to 400 F.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Combine all 3 ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
Dough will form and use a little water if dough is too sticky.
You can be fancy and roll out dough and cut out using cute little shapes or simply roll out and use a butter knife to cut stripe and then cut lengthwise to make little squares.
Bake 20 minutes until firm to touch. Cool stores well or freeze.
